Design and construction of the wave breakers in the depressurized towing tank (240 x 18 x 8 m) where Marin tests scale models of ships and oil rigs. These dampers are capable to moderate the activate waves in the Marin test basin in such a way that the generated data give a reliable prediction of reality when the full-size test objects are built.
