Delegate mr. Sander de Rouwe of the province of Friesland, his management consultant mrs. Marieke Ferwerda, mr. Meindert Tuin, responsible for Knowledge & Economy within the province and Mr. Evert Jan Schouwstra, Managing Director of the World Trade Center Leeuwarden, paid a business visit to Autonational Group in IJlst.
The aim of this informative company visit was to explain the daily challenges Autonational has to deal with and of course to reinforce the administrative contacts with the government.
After a factory tour, Autonational showed the latest technology from the gaming industry: 3D software to visualize your special machinery integrated in a production line.
Autonational was present at the SAMPE conference in Amiens, which was held on 15 to 17 September, with a presentation on Composite Production Automation in Aerospace.
Both the conference and the company visit to the Stella factory near Amiens attracted many participants. The Conference was co-organized by Stelia Aerospace. Autonational Composites was one of the table sponsors.
The company Autonational has been voted as group winner in the production automation industry by the Nomination Committee of the National Business Success Award. With a very strong positioning Autonational has evolved over the years into a leading company.

On April 9 2015, the Friese Export Club is hosted by board member Erik Smit, owner of Autonational BV IJlst. The theme of this meeting is “Doing Business in England”. Erik shares with us the success story about the collaboration between Autonational and Airbus UK.
